We bought out Prestige Casa Di Lusso in November 2024.
We spent a lot of time talking to Steve regarding the best lodge and plot for us, and him even taking us to the factories of numerous manufacturers so we could see the lodges in person rather than in a picture.
We eventually settled for our Prestige Lodge, which we absolutely love and spend most weekends there. Steve and Julie have been amazing in sorting everything for us, if we had any snags which you will get in any Lodge they have been dealt with quickly and efficiently, and still continue to be friendly and approachable, and nothing is too much trouble.
We discovered Dacre lakeside as my mother-in-law and father-in-law have a Lodge on the sister park Coneygarth Lakes and Lodges. We love it that much that we invited our friends to stay and they have also now bought, they have then invited a family member to stay and they have now bought too, and then they have invited their neighbours to stay with them, and they have just bought too!
We highly recommend Dacre Lakeside Park, a lot of the owners & staff have now become friends, and the community feeling is just amazing.

“Our special home from home”
A wonderful place to relax and unwind. We bought a lodge on Coneygarth at Dacre Lakeside 4 years ago and it was one of the best decisions we’ve made. The park is kept beautifully clean and tidy, the gardeners do a fantastic job and everyone is very friendly. The whole process from visiting Coneygarth to ordering a lodge and choosing the decking spec was flawless. The sales team could not have been more helpful, Steve and Julie always have a welcoming smile on their faces, eager to help with any queries you may have and you can be assured of a warm greeting from Blue the dog. There’s a Club House on site to pop in for a drink and a game of pool and if you want to take a break from cooking Berts Pizzeria offers mouthwatering menus. Coneygarth is our special home from home.

Very happy with our purchase of a lodge on Coneygarth Lakes and Lodges at Dacre Lakeside park in May 2024. The site is well maintained and so relaxing. We did plenty of due diligence before buying and felt the annual ground rent represented great value for money, especially for all year round use. We also asked other owners how their bills had previously been managed/increased from year to year and all the feedback we received was positive and gave us peace of mind that we were dealing with good people with great ethics. After looking at the location, with both Hornsea and Bridlington so close by, lovely village pubs, the onsite facilities and the small village vibe in Brandesburton, as well as the great restaurants and shops in Beverley, we were happy to make the long term commitment to purchase a lodge and spend our leisure time here. The owners-only rule (no renters) that does allow close family and friends to use the lodge means both our parents and grown up children and grandchildren both feel very safe here when they stay and ensures the site remains peaceful and tranquil. We are 100% satisfied with both our purchase and ongoing service and just wished we had bought here sooner.

“Nothing is too much trouble”
Been on Dacre for over 10 years as a tourer, and then upgraded to a static. Everything was in black and white, and explained to me, even read out to me! Not like other sites I visited. Steve and Julie in Sales go above and beyond nothing is too much trouble, and the aftersales is second to none, they never stop caring even after you have bought.

“The ideal choice”
We started looking around a year before we bought, having thoroughly researched the market ourselves beforehand. Distance limited our viewings, but Julie was fabulous, very accommodating showing my family around Lodges on our behalf, sending videos, photos, details, prices if required, but no forced selling!
Steve and Julie answered our questions openly, reserving a Lodge with a fully refundable deposit initially, & full price breakdown, the Purchase & Licence Agreement and Park Rules were sent to us before Final Payment for our perusal and then on purchase we were given the Agreement to take away and read and sign and return at our leisure.
The Lodge was fully ready to start “Holidaying”, clean bedding, plates etc, plus a beautiful bouquet of flowers and several bottles of wine. A thoughtful welcoming touch!
Steve & Julie are readily available for help/issues, the site is kept lovely, security gates, use of Dacre Lakeside Park amenities and lovely staff throughout all areas.
For us Coneygarth Lakes & Lodges has been the ideal choice.

This is our happy place, a place to make memories! Steve and Julie were amazing and honest from start to finish, this is one of the nicest sites around and we have looked at plenty! A year on we still can’t believe we are here, and if you need anything Steve and Julie are always on hand to sort.

We previoulsy had our caravan on a different site, and were looking to move, some friends have a van on Dacre Lakeside, so we decided to have a drive to have a look around, and from the minute we drove onto the park we felt this was where we wanted to site our 2nd home. The experience we have had as part of the move has definitely been 5*, every member of the park team have been extremely friendly. We have been on site for less than 24 hours and absolutely love it!! As far as Dacre Lakeside are concerned our move went without a hitch.

“We started our search for a holiday home over a year ago, visiting and researching many locations across different areas before deciding Coneygarth was the place we wanted to be.
A lovely location, well looked after, nicely landscaped, peaceful and close to the coast.
We chose a beautiful lake fronted plot which we secured with a refundable deposit before researching and visiting various Lodge manufacturers to choose a lodge which best suited us.
Throughout the whole process, Steve and Julie were great, answering all our questions, addressing any concerns, and keeping us updated with the progress, even sending us photos of our new lodge at different stages of manufacture.
The whole procedure was very transparent and we were given the full terms of the agreement to purchase early in the process, prior to making any payments. These were very clearly set out and the sales team answered any questions we had.
We took delivery of our lodge in late 2024, and this looks absolutely great sited on the lake front. It’s our place to get away from it all and chill out.
