Hainsworth Park Golf Club
Hainsworth Park Golf Club, which is just across the road from Coneygarth, prides themselves in offering everyone a warm welcome, quickly giving them the reputation for being one of Yorkshire’s Friendliest golf clubs. The ‘easy-walking’ course is set in mature parkland and offers 18 fair but challenging holes.
Hornsea Golf Club
Just a 9 mile drive from the Park, Hornsea Golf Club, a traditional links designed, par 72, 18 hole course, with the first seven holes running outward towards the iconic water tower. A double loop of five holes, including the signature hole, 11th, brings the golfer to Hornsea’s famous inward stretch, possibly the finest six finishing holes in the county.
Being situated on the Yorkshire coast, the course has many features associated with links golf, including extensive gorse and wind-blasted thorn. The terrain is gently undulating parkland with extensive tree belts to shelter the golfer from the stiff breezes, which are commonplace at seaside courses.
Bridlington Links Golf Club
With breath taking views over Bridlington Bay, Bridlington Links Golf Club is set in mature woodland, within 210 acres of grounds and one of the most glorious 18-hole cliff-top golf courses in the UK.
The 6719 yard, par 72 course has a distinctive links feel and there’s also a driving range and a 9 hole course for those feeling less energetic.
South Cliff Golf Club in Scarborough
At South Cliff Golf Club, not only do they pride ourselves on being ‘the friendly club’ but they also offer a superb combination of excellent facilities and a spectacular course with open views out to sea which they welcome they welcome the opportunity to share it with golfers from around the world.
The Golf Club is situated approximately one mile south of the town centre and is split by Filey Road which makes the course very distinctive with parkland holes and links style holes on the coastal side with spectacular views over the town and harbour.
You will find playing this course both enjoyable and challenging whatever your handicap.
